Installing Pop & Lock Tailgate Lock on 2003 Ford F-150 Lightning

Question:

I have 2003 F150 Lightning. Cannot find right color combo to splice into on drivers side kick panel. Instructions say Red with green line closest I have is Red with yellow other is Pink with Orange line. think I found that one but it is much thicker than other wires.. what am I not seeing. Thanks for your help

The Pop & lock Custom Tailgate Lock - Power # PAL8250 will tap into the following wires: The door lock is a pink wire with black tracer and unlock is a pink wire with orange tracer.

The way to confirm is to use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 while hitting the lock and unlock. The other option is to bypass the factory wiring and use the Switch Kit for Pop & Lock Power Tailgate Lock - Universal # PAL9520.
