Parts Needed to Install 7-Way and Brake Controller in 2018 Toyota RAV4
Question:
Hello! I quickly browsed through all the questions about item #ETBC7, Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires. I wanted to ask if this kit will handle everything I need. I have a 2018 RAV4 with aftermarket 4-pin wiring harness for the tow package. I just bought a 2007 T@B trailer with 7-pin connection. I need to convert my 4-pin in the RAV4 to the 7-pin connection as well as add a brake controller to the vehicle. Also need to add another wire for power to the trailer battery. Will this kit help me accomplish all that? Thanks so much! Excited new travel trailer enthusiast.

Yes the brake controller install kit part # ETBC7 is the exact kit you are looking for to convert the 4-way of your 2018 Toyota RAV4 to a 7-way, install a brake controller, and activate the 12 volt accessory circuit for the charge line of your trailer battery.
The only thing else you'll need is a brake controller which the Brake EVN # TK63VR is a really great option that is very reliable, is proportional which means it senses how hard you apply the vehicle brakes and applies the trailer brakes with a relative intensity, and is priced well.
