Wiring Diagram for 4 Panel Go Power Solar Panel Kit 342-75010

Question:

The instruction manual does not give an option for parallel wiring of solar panels. Is it possible to wire the solar panels in parallel with this system? Is there a reason why this option is not included in the instruction manual? Thank you,

I attached a diagram that shows how Go Power intended for the panels of the Go Power Solar AE-4 All Electric System with MPPT Solar Controller # 342-75010 to be wired. Is there a reason you are wanting to wire them up differently? Changing the voltage by parallel wiring vs. series wiring is typically only done out of necessity whereas in this setup the correct voltage is achieved when wiring like recommended so that the charger works like it needs to for the batteries.

@Miguel Yes, you can add an inverter to this system to provide A/C 120 volt power. If you can tell me about your batteries, I can recommend a properly size inverter for your system.

@LesD have 2) 200 ah lithium batteries

The system you are looking at calls for 600 Amp Hours of batteries. This will give you more available DC energy to invert into AC energy. If you have a system with 200 amp hours of lithium battery power, you obviously have less to work with. If you get a 2000 watt inverter # 34280055 you will have lots of AC power for as long as the battery lasts. If you run lots of power hungry appliances it will only last so long. On the other hand, if you are frugal your batteries could last as long as the sunny weather does. I suggest that you do a "power audit" to see how much power you really use and need, then sized your system accordingly.
