Recommended Suspension Enhancement For a 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500

Question:

I just recently bought a heartland prowler travel trailer which is 36 ft 4 in, and the Dry Weight7980 lbs im below my max tow rating but my truck has alot of squat. I have a anti sway bar with weight distrubution hitch but i am having alot of rearend sway from camper affecting the speeds at which i can drive the trailer. What would be the best solution for my truck on increasing my suspension?

A suspension enhancement like the RoadActive Suspension # RAS54FR would do a great job of helping reduce the sag you're experiencing and reduce sway. The RAS helps add an additional layer of support to your suspension that will also help prolong the life of those components and also make the rear end a bit more stable since it's going to help take some of the strain off the rear axle. Since these have a 1500-lbs capacity, they'll do great job on your Prowler with around 800-lbs in tongue weight.

I've linked a quick video we've done on these springs that I recommend checking out, but these are one of our most popular upgrades for the rear suspension on newer trucks. I do also recommend making sure that your weight distribution hitch is rated properly for that trailer, as that could also be contributing to the issue.
