When picking out a weight distribution hitch the most important factor to know is the loaded tongue weight of the setup. I attached an FAQ article on how to determine tongue for you to check out. You should note that tongue weight also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle.

Typically, tongue weight is 10-15 percent of the total weight of a trailer. So most likely your tongue is 420-630 lbs. Which the Pro Series Weight Distribution System # PS49582 that you referenced could work very well since its range is 550-750 lbs. You will still need to verify your current tongue weight to be sure.

The best way to fight trailer sway is by proper loading of the cargo in the trailer. To do that you will basically need to load everything as far forward as possible in the trailer. Anti-sway devices like # 83660 that works with the # PS49582 are great for helping in adverse conditions like wind, but they will not stop a improperly loaded trailer from swaying completely.
