How Does Trailer Breakaway Kit Battery Charger Item # 20011 Install
Question:
Hi, I received the above item and am ready to install it on my Hopkins Engager Break-Away Kit with LED Charge Indicator. Most of the info Ive found on your site deals with installing the battery charger to a setup that does NOT include the aforementioned battery box with the charge indicator. Since this box has the red, blue and black wires coming from the little circuit board, Im hesitant on making the splice. Do you have an exact wiring diagram and instructions for this setup? Thanks

The wires of the # 20011 need to install as follows:
Black wire is connected to the vehicle battery to get the charge
Red wire is connected to battery in the breakaway kit on the trailer
Blue wire is connected to the breakaway switch
For more info on how to install this check out the install video link I attached on this page as well.
