Thule Passage 2 Trunk Bike Rack for 2019 BMW X5
Question:
Will this rack be usable on a BMW X5? I have no trailer hitch so I’m looking into alternatives

I called Thule and they have confirmed that the Passage 2, part # TH910XT, can fit on the BMW X5 up to the 2018 model. The 2019 and 2020 cannot support this rack due to the factory spoiler being unable to support the rack's weight.
If you do have a 2019 X5, we do have a bike rack that is confirmed to fit. It's the Malone Hanger 3, part # MPG2139. It can support 3 bikes, has adjustable arms, has an integrated cable lock, and is confirmed to fit all 2019 X5 models except for the M. I've included a video review of this bike rack installed on a 2016 Mazda CX-5.
