Flange to Flange Measurement on RV Slide Out For Slide Topper Awning Fit

Question:

Do you measure from the inside edge of the flange or the outside edge of the flange?

You measure from the outside edge of the flange to the outside edge of the opposite flange. The Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 12'7" Wide - 48" Projection - Black # LCV000165061 you asked from fits a flange to flange measurement of 146 to 151 inch slide outs.

If you have a different measurement and need help, let us know and we'll make sure you get the right fit. Each product page will give you the outside edge to outside edge flange fit like I've attached in the photo.

I'm looking at slide out awnings. Mine measures 145 inches outside edge to outside edge of flange. The one I see are slightly shorter or longer. Can you tell me which one I need. I'm thinking it's LCV000165061which will be 3-3.5 in wider on both sides. Thanks Ron

A slide topper should be a little wider on each side. In this case you would want the Solera # LCV000165061 slide topper measuring 151 inches wide. You will also want Alpha # AL96FJ Butyl tape to go between the rail and wall.
