Increments of Drop for Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount
Question:
The max is listed as 7, but I cant find the spacing or other heights listed. I need a hitch with a 5-1/4 inch drop when the truck and trailer are lightly loaded, and something about 1 inch to 1-1/2 inch less when fully loaded, like 4 inch or so.

The Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount # C45901 adjusts in 1 inch increments, with it's maximum drop being 6-3/4 inches, and you can then go to 5-3/4 inches, 4-3/4 inches, or 3-3/4 inches depending on what you need.
This ball mount comes with a pin and clip but you can lock the mount with the Curt Lock Set for Adjustable Channel-Style Mounts # C23556.
For a hitch ball, the corrects fits are 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # C40002 and 2" Hitch Ball # 63845.
I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well of the Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount # C45901.
