Is the RedArc Liberty Compatible with a 2012 Chevy Silverado
Question:
i have a chevrolet 2500hd 2012 year i have 2 axles on my camper and i never go off road. according to what i am reading this controller will work just fine. there are such a price difference in these controllers i just wanted to make sure the liberty is a good unit. also i have tekonsha unit right now. there is an adaptor you sell that is suppose to be plug and go, it is suppose to plug right into the wiring harness that is going to the tekonsha straight to liberty but no info is giving on the liberty = only on the other redarc units. i will decide after i get this info on the face plate i will get. the tekonsha is a good unit but i had to mount it way low and when on hills etc it is hard to reach. i can mount this little unit right up in front of me and will be so much nicer. i just want to make sure the liberty is a good unit. i will never have a trailer that has 3 axles. thank you

The RedArc Liberty # RED24FR is compatible with your 2012 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD and is a good value priced brake controller that will provide with proportional braking for trailers with 2 or fewer axles. I really love RedArc controllers because they install out of the way and provide you with very responsive braking.
The only downside of the Liberty is that there are no adapters available that allow for plug and play installation so you'd need to use the Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Trailer Brake Controllers # RED69FR to splice into your existing wiring under the dash.
