Best Supplemental Braking Options for 2017 GMC Terrain
Question:
I am confused on the braking system It appears their are two options for the 2017 Terrain. One is the SM99251 Demco SBS Stay-in-play Supplemental braking kit and the other option appears to be RM 9700 Potable Supplemental Braking system. Do I need both or just one of these? Who Installs this complete system as discribed on you Web site?

There are more than two braking options for your 2017 Terrain. But I'll give you the two best options. For a permanent install the DUO part # SM99251 is the best option. It installs the easiest and performs the best.
Then for a setup similar to the 9700 the Blue Ox Patriot part # BLU37TR is the best removable option. This is a more reliable and better performing kit by far than the 9700. You only need one of these systems installed.
