Best Suspension Enhancement for 2018 Ford F-150 Towing with Weight Distribution
Question:
2018 F150 XLT with 6750# GVWR and Tow Package, supercrew cab and 5.5’ bed. We are pulling a 26’ travel trailer weighing 7K # with 700 # younger weight with a weight distribution 4 point hitch. The truck has porpoise a little occasionally. Would either of these spring helpers help and if so which one would you recommend? Thanks,

The best suspension enhancement we offer for your 2018 Ford F-150 that is towing would be the RoadActive Suspension kit part # RAS3611-YHD. This will give you the support to prevent the porpoising, will improve ride quality and stability, and will reduce suspension sag as well. Other similar options might provide additional support but they will make the ride quality harsher.
You will need to reset your weight distribution setup after installing this kit though.
