Can Dometic RV Awning be Upgraded to Solera Power Awning

Question:

I have a 2018 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS with a 16foot Dometic power awning. The motor quit working so Im looking at replacing the dometic motor and torsion end with something different. Do you have a kit to replace the motor and torsion end or do I need to replace the entire awning tube. Id like to keep the fabric that came with the OEM awning.

You can upgrade your Dometic awning to a Solera power awning with the part # LC434724. This will replace the arms of what you have now but allow you to keep using the awning fabric.
