Can the Furion RV Air Conditioner with Built in Thermostat be Used as a Stand Alone Second Unit
Question:
I just installed a Furion Chill Dometic Brisk Setup - 15,500 Btu to replace a Dometic unit. Installation couldnt be easier. It really was plug n play installation. Im so impressed with the Furion unit that Im considering on buying a 2nd one with the built in thermostat for the front bedroom on a 5th wheel. Im looking at FR52PR. Q, the coach is pre-wired, 115vac lines only. Does this unit require a control box since the thermostat is built into the distribution box?

I'm glad it worked out so well! I really like the Furrion units like the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Manual - 13,500 Btu - White # FR52PR over the others. I'm actually going to add one to mine soon. Back to your question there is great news. You can simply install the second unit and wire it directly. From there the thermostat and controls on the unit will operate it with no issues.
