Does Furrion Wall Thermostat Require Wires Ran to It from Unit

Question:

I have two questions a out adding the wall Thermostat. First, does a power supply need wired to the thermostat and if it is not wireless like my Carrier system, how would you conceal the wires in an RV? Second, this description does say the Auto Mode will turn off the fan when temperature drops below setting and currently my Carrier system does this also. This allows to system to turn off completely during the night when temps . I read a QandA where your representative said the fan never automatically turns off with the Wall Thermostat. Is your representative correct and the Furrion description for Auto Mode incorrect?

Furrion wall thermostats like the part # FR55PR do require wiring to install as they do not have a wireless way to receive power or communicate with the AC unit. Running wiring through the walls is similar to how wiring in a house is done. It's harder once the walls are up but you can still accomplish this. A contractor local to you might be able to help if you get stuck.

The fans of these units do have to run all the time as this pulls air through the unit so that the thermostat reading is accurate. Otherwise, the temp readout would get skewed.
