Do I Need Weight Distribution and Sway Control with My 22 Foot Travel Trailer
Question:
I will be towing a 22foot travel trailer, GVW 6400 lbs, tongue weight 640lbs with my 1994 2 door GMC Yukon, which is 16ft long, has a towing capacity of 7000 lbs. I have anti sway bars. Should I also buy a sway control? Thanks

It's generally recommended that you use a weight distribution hitch any time your trailer is greater than 1/2 of the tow vehicle's GVWR; this isn't a hard and fast rule, but it's definitely something that is going to help create a safer and more comfortable towing experience. Weight distributing hitches come either with integrated sway control or without a sway control system.
It sounds like you've already got sway control bars installed on your trailer, so using something like the Reese Weight Distribution System w Shank - Round Bar - 10,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW # RP67509, would do just fine since it's designed for weight distribution only and will work with your existing sway bars.
If you wanted to go with an all in one solution, you could remove your sway bars and use the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 10K GTW, 1K TW # RP66559.
I've linked some review videos of these parts for you to have a look at, as well.
