Diode Tow Bar Wiring Kit Recommendation for 2020 Ram 1500

Question:

Good morning. I would like to set up my 2020 Ram for flat downing. My question which diode set up do I need for lights to operate properly. I do know when I apply brakes on the Ram they light up red, and when the turn signals are activated it appears that the same lights are used but they are amber. Also on a side note I will be using the Patriot braking system by Blue ox. Thank you in advance.

While you do have a separate taillight setup since your turn signals are on a different circuit from your stoplights you can still wire up your 2020 Ram 1500 for tow bar wiring like a combined circuit and it will work just fine and be totally legal. The red bulbs of your stoplights would just blink with the turn signals like a combined vehicle. The # RM-152-1676-7 that you referenced comes with everything you'd need so it would be the best overall setup and would work great too with the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR.
