Recommended Roof Rack and Cargo Box For 2019 Honda Odyssey With Naked Roof

Question:

Were looking to add a cargo box to our 2019 Honda Odyssey. I was looking at the etrailer raised side rails e99034 and the Yakima Sky Box NX16 Roof Cargo box. I'm unsure which cross bars would be needed for this particular installation. Are there any particular rail, cross bar and cargo box combinations that are the most common for the 2019 Odyssey? The etrailer Raised Side Rails for Roof Rack - Black Powder Coated Steel # e99034 are a great option for your 2019 Honda Odyssey. Next I recommend adding the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack - Aero Crossbars - Raised, Factory Side Rails - Aluminum - 58" Long # MPG216 and then you will be ready for your cargo box. The Yakima SkyBox NX 16 # Y95AV will fit well and the crossbars will need to be between 24 and 36 inches on center for proper support with this combination and you will need 47 inches from the center of the front bar to the hatch seam to ensure there is complete hatch access.
