What is Considered Normal Tire Size for Use with Timbren Axle Less Kit # ASR3500S05
Question:
hi, What tire/ wheel combinations are considered normalinch for the ASR3500S05? I already have some 235/75 R15 A/T tires on 8inch steel wheels with the 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern. OK to roll with these given sufficient backspace to keep the tire off the suspension? If not, what about 235/75 R15 on narrower wheels? At what point, would I want to consider the ASR35HDS02 instead? thanks

Expert Reply:
Standard trailer tire widths will work great on the Timbren Axle Less kit part # ASR3500S05 since this wasn't designed for wider or off road tires. The Westlake ST205/75R15 part # LHAW121 would work great. If you were wanting to go with a wider size like you mentioned 235/75 R15 A/T that's when the part # ASR35HDS02 would be a good idea as it has the wider wheel spacing.
