Can Trailer Tire Size 4.80-12 be Upraded if There's only 2 inches of Fender Clearance
Question:
I have a 2inch clearance with an 1/8inch to a 1/4inch to spare with both distances now from the trailer frame and from the fender. I currently run a Titan 4.80 12 on a 13inch rim with the 5 bolt 3inch hub hole. What can you suggest I could upgrade to?

Helpful Expert Reply:
If you only have 2 inches of fender clearance currently I would not recommend going to a larger diameter wheel and tire setup. You'd for sure rub and have issues. Do you need new tires or could you continue with what you have? In the size of 4.80-12 the best option we have is the Taskmaster Radial part # TT48012C which has a higher speed rating and a great weight capacity.
