The Thule OutWay 3 Bike Rack, # TH56BV, is confirmed to fit your 2005 Toyota Highlander and your 2004 Honda Accord. This bike rack comes with four ratcheting cables that attach to the top and bottom edges of the rear hatch and trunk on your vehicles. The cables on this bike rack we designed to last longer than the typical nylon straps that you find on most bike racks.
Please note, if you have a spoiler on the top of the rear hatch on your Highlander, the cables should be routed under the spoiler, not over. The spoiler is not designed to handle any weight and if the cables are ran over the spoiler the spoiler could deform or even brake under the weight of the bike rack and bikes.
I have attached the installation instructions and a review video of this bike rack for you to check out.
If you plan on carrying any womens, childrens or alternative bike frames, then I would also recommend picking up the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT. Some bikes with small or angled frames can be difficult to load on a bike rack and this adapter bar will provide a horizontal top tube to load the bikes safely and level.
