Fat Bike Tire Width for Use with RockyMounts HighNoon FC Solo 1-Bike Rack
Question:
Im considering a fat bike, but the tires on this particular model are speced at 4.9inch wide. Is it OK to use the rack for a fat bike with tires 4.9inch or 5.0inch wide? If anyone have direct experience and can recommend whether its OK or not OK, it would be very appreciated. Thank you for your help.

No worries! The RockyMounts HighNoon FC Solo 1-Bike Rack # RKY87RR has wheel cradles and straps that can accommodate up to 5 inch tires. In my experience with mounting fat bikes, the key is the length of the straps. The straps are what secure the wheel down and some bike racks have cradles wide enough for fat bikes, but their straps are too short and don't wrap around the wheel.
With the HighNoon, your fat bike will fit right in as their cradles are not only deep and wide, but they have extra-long straps for that extra security.
