I spoke with my contact at Longview and the custom towing mirrors # LVT-2000 will extend out another 4-1/2 inches beyond the factory mirrors on your 1990 Ford F-250. Depending on how you have the mirrors angled will determine if you will be able to see down the sides of the trailer. So it is possible to see down the sides of an 8 foot wide trailer.
