Compatibility of As-550 Swing Out Step For 2013 Silverado 2500 Crew Cab

Question:

Is there any way to adapt this step to a 2013 Silverado 2500HD crew cab with a 6.5 bed. I really like this step and the other steps recommended are 4 times the price of this one.

The Pilot Automotive Truck Bed Swing Out Step # AS-550 is not a fit for your 2013 Chevy Silverado 2500. I'm not sure what adapter you would need to make this compatible. The only truck bed step that is a fit for your truck is the Bestop TrekStep Truck Bumper Step - Aluminum - Driver Side # B75300 so I've attached a video of this step to help you see the connection of the step so you can determine if a custom adapter bracket is an option for your desired fit.
