Diagram to Use with Installing New 7-Way On Vehicle
Question:
Hello, I have a 2011 Coachmen Clipper Sport 107 and I pulled off the old trailer 7 blade plug to replace it. However, it’s molded so I can’t see which colour wire went to which blade/pin location. Is there specific colours/placement/functions for this trailer that I could use to connect the wires back to the new trailer plug? Thanks.

I attached a diagram that has the two most common wiring color diagrams for a trailer 7-way for you to check out. That said, the trailer manufacturers do not always follow these guide so you may have to trace the wires to see where they go or use a jumper wire from a 12 volt battery post to put current on each circuit and see what activates.
