What Fastway E2 Weight Distribution System do you Recommend for my 2017 Heartland Camper
Question:
New to camp trailers. Just purchased a 2017 Heartland Im looking to buy the 8,000lb E2 Fastway System. Heres what I have: 2017 Heartland North Trail 21FBS Hitch Weight Tongue 390lbs. Dry weight 4450lbs. GVWR 6900lbs. 2017 1500 Silverado Estimating 600lbs to 800lbs hitch weight between the axles. Im thinking I will at least have 150 to 200 lbs of camp gear etc. in the trailer table, chairs, fishing/hunting gear, tents in front of the trailer axles. Could be more. In the bed of the truck I would be hauling coolers, generators, etc. So that would be another give or take 100lbs behind the truck axle. Couple times a year I would like to haul a 4wheeler 531lbs in the bed of the truck. With all this Im leaning towards the 8000lb series to meat my max TW. I appreciate your expert opinion and thanks in advance! Am I in the ballpark for getting the 8000lb series?

I think the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control part # FA92-00-0800 that you looked at will be a great fit for your North Trail 21FBS. You can set it up with your standard load in the camper and when you do haul your ATV in the bed of the truck you can adjust the brackets slightly higher to increase the effect and keep your handling and ride quality consistent.
