The Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar will work with both the direct connect and crossbar style base plate kits from Roadmaster. If you have the direct connect then you'd simply remove the crossbar and attach direct to the ears. If you have the crossbar style then you'd use the included crossbar with quick-disconnects. If you don't have the crossbar you can obtain this using the Replacement Quick Disconnect Crossbar Assembly part # 910021-00.
The Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kits like part # 521020-1B which is for a 2010 Suzuki Grand Vitara all have the crossbar style connection so you will need the crossbar assembly if you don't already have it.
