Options for Converting 7-Way to 5-Way
Question:
I have a 7 way going from my hitch to my cab over camper. I also have a 5 way boat trailer. I want to drill a hole in the 7 way housing at the hitch side of the camper cord and add a 5 way to make a Y. What is the proper wiring connection for the 5 way to the 7 way?

Expert Reply:
The easiest solution would probably be to use a 7-way to 5-way part # A10-7275VP. This plugs right into the 7-way and gives a 5-way connection. Otherwise you could splice in a 5-way to your 7-way wiring with the part # HM47900 if you were looking for a way to use both at same time.
