Replacement Steps for 2013 Provan Bengal Truck Bed Camper

Question:

Original step was a 2 step manual that fell prey to a stump while manuvuering spell into a tight campground space. The original is 9 and about 1/2 inch when folded up . Heigth. The camper fixed first step is 22inch from the ground. I am considering a single step but that might make the first and only step too much . I need advice. Trying to find a step with a shorter folded in height profile so it doesnt hit a stump. Thanks

The Lippert # LC432678 you were looking at do have a bracket height of 6-3/4" tall, so they're going to be a little shorter than your existing steps were, but there is still going to be something hanging down there.

It actually sounds like the TorkLift GlowStep # TLA7802-8000 would be a great option. These steps have pull pins that can be removed to take the steps off during travel, so they're not going to hang below the truck when you're traveling. This is a 2 step setup that has strong landing gear feet to provide a stable step that will work well on entry heights between 16"-27" and has a 21-1/2" mounting bracket that can be placed right under your Bengal Provan's door.

I've linked a review video of these steps for you to have a look at, as well.
