Does SumoSprings Solo Kit # SSR-116-40 Require Using Spacer
Question:
Do you have to place the plastic spacer on the unit? Will leaving out the spacer make the ride better? will the Sumo function correctly without the spacer?

Expert Reply:
If you didn't install the spacer block of the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-116-40 the spring wouldn't engage till the vehicle suspension is compressed considerably. This might improve ride quality but it basically would render the system non-effective since the support wouldn't be there when needed.
