Recommended Lock N Roll Articulating Hitch For Scamp Trailer
Question:
Hi: My 13 foot Scamp Trailer recently flipped onto its side behind my 78 Landcruiser. It isnt pretty and Im currently learning a little about fiberglass repairs! My question is, since the Scamp has a ball hitch receiver, will I have to have someone cut it off and weld your articulating trailer part on? Not something I could do, but if thats what it will take Ill have to ask around. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help

For your Scamp trailer, the Lock N Roll Articulating Hitch - Adjustable Channel Mount - Vehicle Side - 11,000 lbs # 336VS503 will work with the Lock N Roll Articulating Trailer Coupler for 2" Receivers - Trailer Side - 11,000 lbs # 336TS510 you mentioned but I don't believe that is the best option for your trailer as that could involve cutting and welding.
Instead, I recommend the Lock N Roll Articulating Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler - 3" Channel - Trailer Side # 336TS508. This will work with the Lock N Roll Articulating Hitch w/ 3-Position Channel - 2" Receivers - Vehicle Side - 11K # 336VS503505 which will help you tow level. This is a bolt on option to make installation much easier after removing your coupler.
