Does the Lippert Road Armor Come with Mounting Hardware  

Question:

I order a set of Lippert Road Armor for my travel traitor this morming. I also order that brass bushing k71-291-00 and Lippert ap wt bolt kit lc64fr. I was watching a video on your web site and it said hardware was included to install Road Armor. Do I need the wet bolt kit?

The Lippert Road Armor # LC696740 does not come with the bolts you'll need for installation, so you'll still need the hardware. However, the # LC64FR you're referring to are only 3/8" wet bolts and you'll actually need 9/16" diameter wet bolts. The best solution is going with something like the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR46ZR (2-1/4" shackles) # MR76ZR (3-1/8" shackles). These kits come with the bronze bushings, wet bolts and shackle straps. There are some other options so if you need a different shackle length just let me know what you find when you measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the other.

If you want to use wet bolts, the Wet Equalizer Bolt with Locknut and Grease Zerk for Double-Eye Springs - 3-5/16" Long # 126B2 can be used to replace the bolts. You can re-use your existing shackle straps or just let me know how long your old ones are and I can help you find the appropriate replacement parts.
