Do I Need Bike Frame Adapter Bar for RadRunner E-Bikes on Hollywood Racks E Bike Carrier

I have two RadRunner e bikes that you can step through. Each bike weighs about 65lbs. My concern is will the bikes lock into place?

When using the Hollywood Racks # HLY84FR you'll need to use the Hollywood Racks Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's and Alternative Frame Bikes # HRBA-PRO in order to secure your bikes on the rack.
