Installation of Redarc Tow Pro Elite in 2020 Subaru Outback Onyx XT

Question:

I have a 2020 Subaru Outback Onyx XT with the factory tow package that includes the hitch and 4-pin connector. I will be pulling a tear trailer with brakes and reverse lights. I know I need to add a 7-pin using item #ETBC7 but so far I have been unable to find a video or directions on this install. Ive seen the recommendations to use the Curt Echo but prefer the Tow Pro Elite since I will be taking the trailer offroad. The 6th Gen Outback 2020+ is quite different from the previous model years so I think specific instructions would be appreciated by lots of people. Is there plans to make an install video for the 2020+ Outback similar to the previous Outback installation videos youve made? Any other help you can provide for this install would be great. Thank you!

As soon as we have opportunity to shoot an install video for a brake controller on a 2020 Subaru Outback Wagon like yours we will but at this time we do not have anything we can share. The process to install the Redarc Tow Pro # RED44FR would be the same as what you see in the attached install video but the wiring colors would be different. Right now this would be the best solution we can provide.
