Parts Needed to Add 7-Way to 2018 Toyota Sienna LE for Trailer Brake Controller

Hello, I am wondering what is the best option for adding a 7-pin RV connector to my 2018 Toyota Sienna 4WD LE. Will I need to get both a 4-way connector and a 7-way harness? Or is there one piece that will work for me? Can you also let me know if this setup would be compatible with a trailer brake controller? Thank you!

In order to add a 7-way to your 2018 Toyota Sienna so you can tow with a hitch like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98837 you will need to add a 4-way (if you don't have one) and then a 7-way, which the 4-way will connect to. For your '18 Sienna the correct parts are:
- T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118648
- Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7
The # ETBC7 will give you the 7-way as well as the rest of the hardware needed to install a trailer brake controller. For the controller I recommend the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160.
The Primus IQ is a quality but still cost-effective brake controller that is going to give you smooth braking but at a much better price than similar controllers. I have added links to video reviews and installs for you to check out as well.
