How to Use Thule T2 Bike Rack for 1-1/4 inch Hitch in 2 inch Hitch
Question:
Is it ok to use an adapter on our 2.0 hitch to use our T2 Classic 1.25? We want to be able to use this bike rack for both our car and RV.

We've asked Thule this in the past and they have told us that it is okay to use a Thule T2 bike rack intended for a 1-1/4 inch hitch in a 2 inch hitch if you use an adapter sleeve like the part # HT02. To lock the adapter as well as take out any excess movement created by it you might also be interested in the anti-rattle hitch lock part # 63232. However, I must point out that the #TH9045 is rated for use on Motorhomes but not fifth-wheels or travel trailers.
