Replacement Axles for Tandem Axle Trailer That Doesnt Have Suspension
Question:
I acquired a trailer that is 77inch wide and 12foot long. The only down side is it has no suspension and the hubs look to be welded on. I would like to keep it a tandem trailer just put new axels underneath. Any help would be great. To help the things Id like to haul I have hunting property an hour away so Id like to take subcompact tractor, quads, etc. New Axels

There are a lot of options for your trailer. I have attached the options for the axle replacement with the spring centers at 58 inches on center. The hangers, leaf springs, equalizers, shackle straps, and hardware. It would be very uncommon to not have a trailer with some sort of suspension are you sure you don't have a torsion axle with an arm that moves with the "springs" on the inside of that assembly?
I have also attached the information for the axle-less system which has the integrated suspension so no other components are needed if you get a kit with the integrated hubs.
I definitely recommend adding the suspension system for what you are looking to haul because a trailer without any suspension will reduce the capacity by half.
