Can Outside Be Used When Loading Only One Bike on a Platform Rack?
Question:
If I am only loading 1 bike, is it ok to place the bike on the front rack instead of the back rack?

When using the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider 2 Bike Platform Rack # HR200Z the manufacturer recommend loading a single bike to the inside because it is a more stable position. You can however choose to load it to the outside for ease of use and it will secure your bike and allow you to safely transport it, you just may have more movement on the rack itself than you would if loaded to the inside.
