Best Bike Rack for Electra Townie Bikes
Question:
Looking for a rear car bike rack That will work well for two Electra townie bikes without breaking the bank. This is for one female and male townies with fenders. I would also like to avoid Racks that need the bar adapter as much as possible.

The Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack # SA4412B is a great option to carry your Electra Townie Bikes on your 2013 Honda CR-V. This is a frame mount design and what makes this unique is it doesn't require a bike adapter bar compared to the traditional frame mount that have a large hook. This is also a great way to carry bikes with fenders since wheel mount bike racks are not compatible with fenders.
With a weight capacity of 60 lbs per bike this will carry your Townie whether you have the standard or electric version. If you do have the electric version I would recommend removing the battery during transport
