Will Hatch on 2018 Subaru Forester be Able to Fully Open with Sport Rider SE Bike Rack Installed

Will the rear hatch open completely with #HR1400Z carrying 4 bikes?

I think that you'll have enough hatch clearance with the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 4 Bike Platform Rack # HR1400Z installed on your 2018 Subaru Forester, but since we haven't actually tested it out I honestly have no way to verify this for sure. I can say that typically the clearance boils down to the length of the handlebars so if your bikes have standard handlebar length I think you'll be okay since the hatch on a Forester is a little smaller.

We have tested a few other bike racks out on a 2018 Forester and didn't seem to run into any issues. I'm linking the page that has all of those videos for you to check out. They will be towards the bottom of the page.
