Replacement Switch for RV Electric Scissor Jacks

Question:

Greetings, I have electric scissor jacks on my 2013 Arctic Fox that after two years starting intermittently extended / Retracting. Now they hardly work, so I decided to troubleshoot. After checking the switch wires and, connectors, I opened the rocker switches, and I believe i found the issue. I believe my switches are the same ones shown on your site, #113407 The internal SS plating is rusted, the copper pcs are very tarnished from moisture, there is pitting, and dirt inside. Are there any companies out there that makes a durable, water resistant replacement, same specs rocker switch? It doesnt make sense to purchase another of the same switch, and ultimately have the same issues. Thank you

I may have a solution for you, but I'm unable to find anything that specifically states that it is weather proof. You also may want to consider installing this switch inside one of your trailer's cargo holds, to keep it out of the elements.

With that said, you can use the # LC144214 which can be paired with the Replacement White Switch Housing For Lippert Components High-Speed Power Stablizer Jack # LC134025 to provide you with added protection from the elements.

I've linked some review videos of these parts for you to have a look at, but these parts will work for this application and would provide you the protection you're seeking from the elements.
