Recommended Trailer Brake Controller for a 2020 BMW X3

Question:

We have a 2020 BMW X3 with the factory tow package, so we have full wiring harness already installed, along with both a 7 and 4 pin option on the rear of the vehicle. BMW does not include a brake controller, however there is some sort of 4 pin plug for one under the drive side dash - do you have an adapter or wiring option to utilize that oem brake controller interface?

I do have an option but I am not aware of any trailer brake wiring provision on a 2020 BMW X3 therefore none of the aftermarket brake controller manufactures offer a plug-in harness for this vehicle. That said, I still do have a completely plug-in-play brake controller option and that is with the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller part # C51180. This option uses your phone so it's something you are already comfortable with and you won't have to drill into your dash to mount it like you would for one that plugs in under the dash.
