Can 2020 Ford Ranger with Separate Turn Signals be Tow Bar Lighting Wired as Combined

Question:

A friend of mine and I were installing the Blue Ox towing plates and wiring on my 2020 Ford Ranger today. The hardware is done. Turned to the wiring. He was checking the wiring and alerted me that the 2020 Ranger has separate running, turning, and brake lights. Okay. I see in the write-up that I also need part number 118158 to do that and two more diodes. But then I see “not for LED lights”. My pickup has LED lights. Can you provide a list of what more I need and help me out on how to do it. The Moor Home I have is a Thor ACE and I just have the standard 2 wire system. Friends says I need some conversion method. The good news is that vehicles with separate turn signals from stoplights can still be tow bar wired as a combined setup. Basically the brake lights would function as if they were wired combined and your extra turn signals basically just wouldn't be used.

We actually have a help article that I linked to this page that details how to do this for you to check out but I also attached a diagram that shows how it will be done.
