How Can a Weight Distribution System be Used on a Square Tube Trailer Frame

I would like to know if the Reese RP66131 weight distribution hitch will work with a 2x6inch tube not channel A-frame trailer? Can this stay connected while backing up?

You can install a weight distribution system on a 2x6 tube frame trailer like what you described but you are going to need to use a pole tongue adapter like the part # RP58393.
