Recommended Battery Charger for Continuous Long-Term Use
Question:
I have a car that i do not use all the time.it can sit in my garage for 3 weeks to several months.i was told that a 2 amp battery desulator/maintance charger is my best option.can i leave this connected to my battery without disconnecting the battery terminals.i use a standard battery charger when the battery gets low.i do not disconnnect the terminals, but i leave on overnight and than disconnect the charger.im looking for a charger to maintain the battery without disconnecting the terminals and can leave connected for several months if necessary.what is my best option.if it is a desulator will a 2 amp be enough to maintain the charge in the 12v battery.

We do offer a battery charger that you can leave connected to your vehicle battery for several months, the CTEK MULTI US 7002 12-Volt Universal Battery Charger with Pulse Maintenance and Backup Power # CTEK56353.
This can be used inside in a garage, will automatically switch to maintenance mode and will be perfect for long-term use to keep your car's battery charged up and ready to go even if you need to let it sit for numerous months.
I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well of the CTEK MULTI US 7002 12-Volt Universal Battery Charger with Pulse Maintenance and Backup Power # CTEK56353.
