Recommended Weight Distribution System for a Forest River R-Pod 178/180
Question:
Hello, I have a 2020 Jeep Wrangler 4 Door that I would like to setup to be able to tow an RPOD 178 or 180. I have drank the cool aid and know that I need a WDH to make sure that I can reliably tow with my rig. I have looked at your site and boy are there a ton of options to choose from! I am reaching out for your expert assistance to help me pick the right WDH for my application. My rig is as follows: - 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4 Door - Upgraded to 37 inch tires - Installed 3.5 Metalcloak Game Change lift kit - Falcon 3.3 SP2 Shocks - 8 Speed Automatic - 4.10 Gears will be going to 5.13s later

The weight distribution system I recommend for a Forest River R-Pod 178/180 is the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System part # RP66072 which offers some of the best sway control available on the market. It is also offered without the shank which will be crucial for applications where the tow vehicle is lifted since most systems which comes with shanks won't accommodate a lifted tow vehicle.
In order to choose the correct shank you really need to measure (see article below) but the Reese Weight Dist Shank part # RP3215 should work, there is a full list below as well.
