18 Amp Rating on Firestone Standard Duty Air Compressor F9284
Question:
18 amps and 20 amps whats the difference the compressor Im wanting to replace is 20 amps you guys is 18 amps.

The Firestone Standard Duty Air Compressor # F9284 is rated for up to 130 psi and can work with up to a 1 gallon air tank. There are a variety of factors that go into how many amps something is rated for so while I'm not sure why there would be an amp rating difference between this and what you have, I would just make sure that the psi and tank rating is high enough for your application.
