How to Carry 4 Bikes on 2015 Toyota Highlander Roof

Hi, I have 2 questions. Will this bike rack work with a 24inch mountain bike? And do you think you can fit 4 of these racks in a Rhino Aero bar installed in a 2015 Toyota Highlander? If not, what would you recommend for 4 mountain bikes on the roof?

Yes the Thule UpRide Roof Bike Rack # TH599000 will hold a 24" mountain bike. It fits bikes with wheel diameters of 20"-29" and up to 48" wheelbase.

If you have the recommended 49" version of the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA126B-2 for your 2015 Toyota Highlander then you can use 4 of these bike racks on your roof. I would recommend alternating each bike rack facing the front and rear of your vehicle. This allows the handle bars to not make contact with one another and you can make the bike racks fit more easily.

To get better access to the middle 2 bike racks I would use the Rightline Gear Moki Door Step # RL100660. This temporary step attaches to your door frame latch and gives you a solid step to reach your roof.
