Recommended Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System for 67 Airstream Ambassador

Question:

I am looking for the most appropriate weight distribution system - Center Line or similar - for towing a 67 Airstream Ambassador with a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 with towing package appropriate tow ratings. The trailer dry weight is ~4,500 lbs I measured the tongue weight at 500 pounds with a half full water tank and small propane tanks well have larger ones eventually but nothing else in the trailer. Is a 32217 too stiff for this or ? Thanks for any help you can provide!

Once you have your Airstream loaded up as it would be when towing, and add in the weight of anything stowed in the truck bed behind the rear axle, your tongue weight will be close enough if not over the 600 lb minimum threshold for the Husky # HT32217 Center Line Weight Distribution System, which would be a good, budget-friendly choice. The 2-5/16 inch trailer ball is included, so all you'd need is the kit itself, and you'd be good to go.

I've linked to a product demonstration video that you might find helpful.
