Will Titan Hitch Box Extension for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches Fit Reese Titan Class V Hitch

Hello i am attempting to confirm if the disclaimer on fitment regarding roundedinch corners is going to pose a problem for ing this extension into my Reese Titan Class 5 receiver. I am recalling having incurred this problem with a Reese IV-V sleeve a few years ago - had to grind down the corners of the Reese weight compensating hitch before i was able to into my sleeve / receiver combo. I had the exact same setup on an earlier F350 installed back in 1999, but never incurred this problem. Apparently, your tooling or suppliers have changed ?? Thank You

Since you have a Reese Titan Class V hitch the Titan extender part # RP45018 will fit and work great. The round corner issue is only really an issue for some of the factory Ford hitches. For whatever reason Ford was making the radius of the corners not square enough there for a while.
